I'm using an intake manifold bolt in the second hole from the front of the head to attach the hoist chain.  I've raised the right side of the car just far enough for me to crawl under and remove the transmission mount and cross member.  I'll remove the jacks before I begin pulling the motor.
I'm just beginning to raise the motor.
Notice the intake manifold, water pump and Optispark distributor have already been removed from the motor.  I'd like to INSTALL the motor with these items already mounted but I'm not convinced they'll clear the radiator support and cowl.  Hmmm.... we'll see!
Process is simple:  Raise an inch... pull forward an inch...
Raise an inch... pull forward an inch...
Raise an inch... pull forward an inch...
Raise an inch... it's OUT!
All that's left to do now is roll the car out into the driveway.  Cleaning the engine compartment will be a project unto itself.
